Conditions of participation and data protection information for the "Handwriting Day" raffle on Instagram

Pelikan is giving away 3 x 1 ink bottles of the Edelstein Ink of the Year Apatite to all participants in the "Handwriting Day" raffle starting on January, 23^rd 2023 at 00:01 (CET). Anyone who follows the call to participate in the "Handwriting Day" raffle via the Pelikan Passion Instagram page by January, 25^th 2023 by sharing a photo with a handwritten answer to the question "Why do you like to write with a fountain pen and ink?" with the hashtag #pelikanpassion and #handwriting in their own Insta-Story, tags our profile and complies with the conditions of participation will be included in the raffle.

Conditions of participation and data protection information for the "Handwriting Day" raffle on Instagram

1. In general
   1. Participation in the raffle implies acceptance of the following terms and conditions.
   2. The raffle is organized by Pelikan Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG, Werftstrasse 9, 30163 Hanover, Germany (in the following referred to as "Pelikan").
      
      
2. Circle of qualified participants
   1. Anyone aged 18 or over who follows the Pelikan Passion Instagram page is eligible to enter.
   2. Each participant may only enter the raffle once.
   3. Notwithstanding the above sentences, employees of the Pelikan Group and their relatives, as well as employees of any sponsors/cooperation partners and their relatives, are excluded from participating in the raffle.
      
      
3. Raffle and implementation of the raffle
   1. Participation in the raffle takes place by following the call to participate in the raffle via the Instagram page of Pelikan Passion, sharing a photo with a handwritten answer to the question "Why do you like to write with fountain pen and ink?" with the hashtag #pelikanpassion and #handwriting in your own Insta-Story and tagging our profile.
   2. Pelikan will raffle 3 x 1 ink bottle of Edelstein Ink of the Year Apatite among all participants who take part by January 25^th 2023 at 23:59 (CET).
   3. The winners will be selected by way of a draw and will be notified by Pelikan via personal message on Instagram by February, 01^st 2023 and will be asked to get back to Pelikan Passion via direct message on Instagram within 7 days of submitting the message to confirm the win, provide their full name and a postal address.
   4. If the respective winner does not get back to Pelikan within the period or if the prize notification cannot be delivered for technical reasons for which the winner is responsible, the prize will be forfeited. Pelikan is not obliged to make inquiries about the winner.
   5. The chance to win and participation are independent of the purchase of goods or services.
   6. The participant must bear the costs of the internet connection or the costs arising from use via a mobile phone provider.
      
      
4. Data protection information
   1. The data we collect will be limited to what is necessary for the purpose and will be used solely for the purpose of administering the above raffle. We will not pass on your data to third parties.

5. Right of objection
   Revocation of consent to temporary data storage is possible at any time. To do so, send an e-mail with your address data to passion@pelikan.com or write to the following address: Pelikan Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG, Social Media Department, Werftstrasse 9, 30163 Hanover, Germany.
   
   
6. Other
   1. Cash payment of the prizes is not possible.
   2. Pelikan reserves the right to end the promotion prematurely or to make changes to the procedure at short notice.
   3. The legal process is excluded.
   4. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply to all legal relationships between the parties.

   2. Participants may not assert any claims against Instagram arising in connection with participation in the raffle.
   3. Participants acknowledge that the raffle is in no way sponsored, endorsed, organized or associated with Instagram.
   4. All information and data provided by or collected from participants in the raffle will be provided only to Pelikan and not to Instagram. All inquiries and notices regarding the raffle should be directed to Pelikan and not Instagram.
