Classic Edition 205 – in elegant Taupe

If you have your ear to the ground when it comes to fashion, you already know that the color “Taupe” is one of the trends of the season – and because it’s such an interesting blend of gray and brown, it’s more than a seasonal trend – it holds its own next to the classical black and will stay in this position for years to come. If you write with a fountain pen in the color “Taupe” you will stand out from the crowd – but not too much.

With its shiny chromed rings and clip and its traditional shape, the series Classic 205 taupe offers writing instruments that combine classy elegance with a modern touch. They look particularly well in combination with brown and white outfits.

The M205 DUO is a highlighter and a piston fountain pen at the same time - hence the name "Duo". After the amazing success of the M205 DUO yellow, which is also still available, Pelikan launches the shiny green model for a limited time to complement the range.

As before, the green model is available with the extra broad stainless steel nib BB inside an attractive gift box that also includes one bottle of special highlighter ink in shiny green. Due to the extra broad nib, you can both highlight and take notes easily.

The highlighter inks should only be used in combination with the special Pelikan Duo Highlighter fountain pens, either in yellow or in green. Inside the bottle, the green doesn't really look shiny, but when you see it on paper, you'll be surprised!

The stainless steel nib of the fountain pen M200 Café-Crème and the decorative elements are gold-plated. Both the dark-brown pieces and the creamy colored barrel are made of polished, high-quality resin.

Frosted transparent in fascinating lilac

For the first time ever, Pelikan launches a Special Edition that matches the color of Edelstein Ink of the year. The beautiful color Amethyst is an intensive lilac shade combined with a semi-transparent frosted effect that makes these writing instruments unique. This especially developed material combination gives the color an amazing depth, but still allows a glimpse into the inner parts.

The series 205 is available as fountain pen and ball pen with a shiny silver-colored clip and rings. The fountain pen has a polished stainless steel nib. The nib widths EF, F, M, B cover a broad range of individual handwriting.

Pelikan experts will recognize this Special Edition as one of the most popular models that was launched five years ago. As it was so much in demand, we have now decided to do a re-launch for a limited period of time. Starting in April 2016, the M205 Demonstrator transparent blue will be available again with just one change: the ring at the top of the cap will be chromium plated, just like the clip and the rings (in the past model, it was black). However, the high-quality resin in the beautiful transparent blue will remain the same, allowing a tantalizing glimpse into the inner workings of the piston fountain pen.

This model is equipped with a highly polished stainless steel nib that's available in the sizes EF, F, M, and B.

The latest Edelstein Ink of the Year 2016 Aquamarine inspired Pelikan to create again a matching special edition in this fascinating color. A mix of deep Blue-Green, creates a summer feeling of beach, ocean and never ending sky. Pelikan has developed an extraordinary material composition. It gives the color a certain depth and smooth intensity, and still allows a glimpse into the inner parts.

Different from the others: this series 200 Smoky Quartz is the first version refined with golden trimmings. The golden rings, the fine Pelikan clip and the gold-plated steel nib match perfectly with the color temperature of brown-colored, smoky shades.

The series M200 will be offered as a fountain pen with differential piston mechanism and a ballpoint pen with the well established push-mechanism. The nib of the fountain pen M200 has a gold-plated stainless steel nib.

This special edition fountain pen is a masterpiece of technical precision, giving a view directly onto the differential piston mechanism, the heart of the fountain pen. Thanks to the clear transparent barrel, you can see the interaction of the sophisticated black-colored inner parts while operating the ink handle. Being a close observer of the functional processes inside, the Classic edition M205 Demonstrator persuades by its precise and excellent quality. Equipped with a silver colored, high-polished steel-nib, it ensures a perfect ink flow to the paper for a remarkable handwriting experience. This fountain pen is available in nib sizes EF, F, M and B.

Already keenly awaited since the launch of the Edelstein Ink of the Year 2018: the color matching series Classic 205 Olivine. The shade of color is extraordinary: the naming Olivine leads to an imagination of a pure olivine-green color version. Actually the color impression of the natural gemstone combines a lighter green, develops to a rather dark tree-green and finally shows effects of olive-green shades. The different strengths of material dimension in the various product components follow up this effect and lead to a variation of green-color shades in just one pen. Amazing.

The series Classic 205 Olivine will be offered as a fountain pen with differential piston mechanism and a ball pen with the well-established push-mechanism. The stainless-steel nib of the fountain pen M205 is high-polished and shines in sparkling silver. Depending on individual handwriting and preferences, it is eligible in nib width EF, F, M and B.

The combination of gold-marbled barrel material and white elements give a noble and graceful appearance to this fine writing instrument with a weight of 13,4 g and a size of 12,5 cm with closed cap.

The gold-marbled material matches perfectly with the gold-plated nib and the gold-plated decorative elements. The white parts are made of high-quality resin that is first turned and then polished to a high sheen. The barrel with the gold-marbled design is made of acrylic material that was very carefully manufactured.

All rings and the typical Pelikan clip are plated with 24-carat gold. The fountain pen with piston mechanism is equipped with a gold-plated stainless-steel nib and will be available in 4 nib widths EF, F, M and B. The matching ballpoint pen has a push-button mechanism. Quality, made in Germany.
