Here are some facts: The production of the black and blue striped barrel is complex, the material is made originally from cellulose acetate in many steps according to a recipe developed especially for Pelikan. It is bent, ground and then cut to contour with a diamond. The palladium-plated rings on the filling knob and cap are fitted with precision, creating an almost seamless transition between the materials before polishing to a high shine.

The slightly springy Pelikan beak clip gives this high-quality writing instrument its unmistakable design.

The Souverän M805 Black-Blue fountain pen with differential piston mechanism has an 18-carat/750 completely rhodium-plated gold nib. You can also choose a rollerball or a ballpoint according to your personal preferences.

Every Souverän was crafted with the highest precision, mounted by hand and finally carefully checked. Furthermore, the writing qualities of every gold-nib were tested by hand before it comes to you.
