Raden is a traditional Japanese decorative craft mainly used for lacquerware ware and woodwork.
Pelikan applies this wonderful craft to the technical base of its famous Souverän M1000 and M800 models. Every Raden fountain pen is individually signed by the master artist with Maki-e technique.
The motif is reminiscent of a chessboard pattern and has no beginning or end on the round body of the fountain pen, hence the name Infinity.
