SOUVERÄN^® 400

Worldwide, appreciated and loved since decades. The design of the Souverän is unique, and every fine, connected pinstripe on the material shines in individual appearance. The production of the Souverän sleeve is subject to an elaborate process. The typical, striped material is made of cellulose-acetate based on a formula developed specially for Pelikan. It takes months until the block providing the stripes is finished, whereupon the tailor-made plating is curved and cut into a contour using a natural diamond.

The Details

The 24-carat gold-plated rings are so delicately integrated between the materials, that the transitions between the materials is almost seamless.

The famous beak-like clip is the crown. It is offered as a fountain pen with a 14-carat/585 gold nib, a rollerball, a ballpoint pen and a mechanical pencil with push-button mechanism.

Every Souverän 400 Black-Green was crafted with the highest precision, mounted by hand and finally carefully checked. The writing qualities of every gold-nib were tested by hand before it comes to you.
